Dogs
Dogs must wear permanent ID and soft collars only
Choke, chain, spiked, or other such collars are strictly prohibited!
Dogs must be spayed or neutered unless exempt under the Johnson City bylaw
Female dogs in heat are strictly prohibited
Dogs must be current on the required vaccinations – Rabies, Distemper, Parvo, and Bordetella
Dogs exhibiting aggressive behavior must be removed from the park
Dogs deemed aggressive or excessively loud may be banned from the park without a refund of annual membership fees
Unleash your dog in the double gate area – DO NOT enter the park with a leashed dog
Dogs declared dangerous or vicious under Tennessee law (TCA 44-8-413) are prohibited
Do not bring your dog if they are showing signs of illness (coughing, sneezing, diarrhea, eye/nose discharge), have fleas, ticks, or a contagious skin condition, or are recovering from surgery
Owners
You must have your Gate Access Key App/Card/Fob to enter the park
Always clean up after your dog
Never leave your dog unattended in the park
Stay actively engaged with your dog at all times. Do not become absorbed in your phone, conversations, or other distractions to the point that you cannot intervene immediately
Children under 12 years of age are strictly prohibited from the park
Dog handlers must be 16 years or older
No smoking or tobacco products are allowed in park
Owners are solely responsible for the behavior of their dog and for any injury, damage, or veterinary costs caused by their dog, regardless of fault
No eating or drinking is allowed in the park
Alcohol is not allowed in the park
Park membership expires one year from signup
Park equipment is for dog use only. Do not climb, sit on, or damage agility equipment or fencing
Owners must fill in any holes their dog digs before leaving the park
Any bite or injury (to a dog or person) must be reported to the board within 24 hours. Both parties must exchange contact information before leaving
The park is for personal use only. Commercial dog walking, professional training, photography sessions, or any commercial activity requires prior board approval
Drones and other unmanned aircraft are not permitted to be operated over the park
Replacement cost for a Gate Access Key Card/Fob is $5.00
Failure to observe park rules will result in cancellation of your membership
Dispute resolution form should be filled out for any park altercation
